The founding members of Confluence Dance Company held their premiere performance at the Ismon House on November 21 and 22nd at one of our beautiful venues in the Albion community, the Ismon House. We welcomed an audience of 65 guests that shared this unique experience with us.
Audience members enjoyed four pieces choreographed by Kristy Clement and performed by Angie Dickinson, Julianna Frigerio, and Ashley Miller, with a solo by Clement for the final piece. The pieces included a duet choreographed for the Regional Dance America festival from 2009, a trio originally performed by DDCdances in 2015 and two pieces choreographed within the past year. We enjoyed everyone's reactions to and interpretations of our work.

On April 26th the new home of Fluence Arts Organization was celebrated and open to the public for the first time! Artistic Director, Kristy Clement and two special guest artists led guests in a demonstrations class. We were delighted to have Sydney Cunningham and Dylan Cunningham from Dance with Heart Studios. Both are dancers and teachers at the Adrian, MI based studio. Kristy Clement also performed a solo dedicated to the opening of the studio. Photo Credits: Jeff Wilson
Fluence Arts partnered with The Albion Historical Society to honor Missy Wyss and tell the story of the dance program at Albion College and its impact on the community. Kristy Clement told the story and showed videos from past performances. She was joined by special guest, John Parks, who had a large part in creating the dance program and returned to Albion to be part of the presentation and visit with community members, several of which took class from him in the 1980s

For the first official performance produced by Fluence Arts Organization, three guest artists joined us at the Marshall Opportunity school to perform their own choreography. Three Case Western Reserver University students and alumni dancers, Megan Gregory, Claire Christie, and Joel Linebach performed on August 23 and 24, 2024. Photo Credits: Captured by Corina
