January 18th - The History of Dance in Albion
Free and open to the public. Please join Fluence Arts Organization and the Albion Historical Society for a presentation about the history and impact of dance in Albion, following the story of Missy's work at the college and within the community. Wyss founded a program that brought dance into the lives of students and community members from the 1980s until 2007. The event will take place at the Herrick Theatre on the Albion College Campus where years of student dance concerts were performed!
Guest Speaker, John Parks
John Parks is a dancer, choreographer, and educator who was an integral part of bringing the dance program to life at Albion College. Parks has been a returning guest artist and friend to the community of Albion. He will be making a special visit to Albion to speak at this event.
